24” barrel, round count somewhere around 300-400. Never shot more than 2 rounds in quick succession without letting barrel cool. Yes this is controlled round feed. I’m the original owner. Comes with Talley 30mm Medium rings, and if buyer would like I can throw in various .308 projectiles for it as well. I have a box and a half of 210 ABLR, and a box and a half of 178gr EldX. Since I’m moving away from 30 cals they’re all for the taking.

You may notice I am a relatively new account to this forum. I also have this rifle posted on LongRangeHunting under the same username, feel free to message me on there instead if you like as I have trader history, years and many hundreds of posts on that forum.

I’m asking $1000 for this rifle, which is including shipping to FFL to lower 48, all of the bullets (if you would like them), the rings, a sling, and a cheap plastic gun case which the rifle will be shipped in. This gun has been hunted but is in probably 95-97% condition.

The composite stock feels pretty good compared to the cheaper rifles, but I’m selling as I always wanted a safari express, and this rifle just doesn’t get used enough anymore now that I’ve switched to 257 weatherby.

I accept check, cash, PayPal, Venmo, Money order. Also somewhat open to traded, as long as it’s something in 375 h&h, 416 rem mag, 416 rigby, or 458 win mag/lott, with me forking up a bit of cash to cover the difference in value or vice versa. But since the odds of that are very low, I’m mainly looking to sell outright.

Might consider selling the leupold 3-9x40 VXR Firedot with it for the right price, but if it doesn’t go with the gun then the scope is not going to be for sale separately.

Seems as though I can’t edit my post, meant to also include I’m in Omaha and frequently travel across Iowa and can sell in person as well, willing to go out of my way and hour or two in any direction, including hour or two detour from my trips across Iowa for local sale. Might be going to colorado denver area around May 17 as well, my girlfriend’s health and my budget permitting to the Colorado Gun Collector’s show, and could go off course a bit on the way there or back as well.

Alright not getting any bites, emotionally I’ve already sold this gun, and I need the money for a new scope for another rifle.

Let’s try this, $875 takes the gun, and a set of EITHER neck OR full length size dies, a cheap Plano plastic case. 875 is barely more than the bare action on these rifles goes for a lot of times…

For an additional $250, the gun could ship with instead, a Pelican 1750 case. These cases are like $350 new now but I bought this when they were $250 so I’ll let it go as such. If interested I will upload pics. It is cut out for this rifle and a scope with 40mm objective, as well as a separate cutout in the foam for the bolt. Plenty of space for handgun or ammo cutouts if you wanted to cut those yourself.

For an additional $450, the gun could come with a Leupold 3-9x40 30mm tube VXR Firedot mounted to it. That scope is currently mounted to another gun so I’ll install it but don’t expect it to be leveled or sighted in, I’ll just put it on and torque it properly for shipping. But a 30-06 with a 3-9x40? Classic Americana.

Price for gun and dies, including shipping: $875
Price for gun with pelican case and dies: $1,125
Price for gun dies and scope: $1,350
Price for gun, dies, scope, pelican case, and some ELDX 178 bullets and Nosler 210 ABLR: 1500. No, my math isn’t wrong, I’m giving a slight discount if you buy everything as a package.

Scope will be available to purchase separately only after the gun is sold in case the gun buyer wants the whole package.

Any pic you’d like available upon request. Would like to get this moved. If it does not sell in the next week or two it will probably either go to gunbroker or a local gun shop.

I take almost any reputable payment method, and if you’re semi local to me (Omaha but travel 2-4 hours in any direction frequently) I’ll discount further for lack of shipping costs, especially for the complete bundle.

Forgot to include Trades I would consider:

•300WSM with wood stock. Tikka, Browning, Winchester mainly but would consider others
•High grade English or turkish walnut rifle stock blank for full or partial trade depending on grade and my personal like for it. Prefer lighter colored woods, straight grain with dark mineral streaks, not as much a fan of darker wood and/or high figure/burl.
•.416 Barrel blank with contour suitable for safari rifle
•Tract scope, preferably 2.5-15x44 in MIL, but would consider MOA or other powers that are not too high power on the low end. Don’t care about exposed vs non exposed turrets
•.257 Barrel blank with 1:8 or faster twist
•Any nightforce scope

Open to other trades as well, let me know what you have. The main 2 trades I would prefer is stock blank or Tract/Nightforce scope. Open to other scopes but either of those is an easy yes. Others I would consider, shoot me a message.
