I rolled the bones and had a #3 contour fluted before chambering and melonited after chambering. Still held 3/4" moa at 500 meters. Killed more than dozen springbok and other assorted PG with it in RSA.Fluting carrys the same risk of dimensional alteration to the bore as reprofiling. If it works that’s great but if it causes problems it’s new barrel time. As others have said it won’t save much weight.
