I received an email from the taxidermist in Namibia that my trophies have completed the dip and pack process. I have hire Safari Specialty Importers to assist with shipping and the import process.

Is there anything I should be aware of or look out for at this time?

Just pay your $$ when the invoice arrives... :D

Hiring SSI is a good move in my opinion. They will help if their are any questions

Exciting!

The nice thing with Wyatt handling things you can just sit back and relax. He'll take care of everything until the crate arrives at your doorstep.

He'll send you a single invoice once they arrive here in the US

You will soon remember what it was like back when you were 6 awaiting Christmas! The anticipation of your trophies arriving is the culmination of your hunt. Actually with D&P you will have 2, the first when they arrive in the states and then when your taxidermy is delivered and on the wall in your house.

I’m hoping it’s that easy! With all of these shipping and storage fee horror stories we hear don’t happen to me. I can’t afford that! Does anyone have any recommendation on boat versus air shipping? Or is that something that he decides?

I was very excited to receive the email that they were ready for shipping. I didn’t expect that so quickly. Once they arrive, they are going to top of Texas for Eric to work his magic!

He'll ship it on Turkish Airlines to NY where it will be inspected and forwarded to the domestic shipping company. Once it is at the main airport for your area it will then be transferred to a trucking company for final delivery.

There will be no hidden fees for storage. SSI has their own bonded warehouses along with them being USDA certified if your shipment contains primates and or swine such as a warthog.

If you have any questions at all Wyatt will be more than happy to answer them for you.

You need to confirm that Forward Air is still accepting trophies. They stopped for a while I my shipment was held up for months.
