Bere are my first shots. Pretty happy with this. I did not adjust the red dot because these are woodleigh sp and I want to sight in with swift a frames.

500gr... Im assuming a 470 NE?

Which model Chapuis do you have?

What distance was the target shot at?

Whether 50 or 100 I suppose it doesnt matter.. thats going to be considered a very good group (exceptional if its 100) for a double..

Wow 88gr RL15
My Heym 88B I use 79.5 of 3031 with 2gr of foam over cover for 2135fps
The Chapuis uses 80.7gr 3031 with 2gr of foam over cover for 2120 fps
Have a couple loads with H4350 but recoil is more and accuracy is less
Both are 500gr A-frame loads, the Break-Away solids are really good with 1.0-1.2gr less powder
Started to work some loads with North Forks but just not there yet, worried about the supply of Swifts!

Agreed! I scored 3 boxes of Swift A frames .474 500 grain sp. Not sure how long we will be able to get them. If they become available I will by a bunch. I called Bill Hober he says maybe the begining of 2026.

Yep 88 grains. Woodleigh manual 87 grains of reloader 15, at 88 grains no pressue signs, cases eject fine primers are not flattened. Swift manual doesn't show R 15 or IMR 3031 but 4831 has a big difference in recoil. The British double rifle manual also shows 87 grains.Hornady manual shows 86.5 grains of R-15. Thanks for your concern. I really like the IMR 3031 load but I have a lot of R 15 so I will use that.

I have experienced your reload formulas to also get excellent with one inch regulation

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
