Well my first ever (and not the last if I have it my way!) crate came this week and I’ve been getting it all hung up for our families enjoyment.

First I want to give credit to Bullseye Taxidermy, African Legacy Logistics, and Coppersmith for a fantastic and strait forward experience in getting everything home. I would highly recommend their services and will absolutely use them again in the future when I get back to Africa. Bullseye picked our trophies up, cataloged everything and the communication from them was perfect. Africa legacy logistics took care of everything on the RSA side and worked seamlessly with Coppersmith to get our trophies from Vaalwater to our home in Arizona. And at what I feel like was a reasonable price since we had all our taxidermy work done in RSA so our crate was large.

Our crate contained my daughters Impala, and blesbok shoulder mounts, her zebra rug, full body steenbok mount, and her springbok euro and flat skin.

Additionally my son had his warthog skull and warthog leather and his blue wildebeest shoulder mount.

It also had my Kudu shoulder mount, Impala shoulder mount, Nyala wall pedestal mount, warthog skull and porcupine skull and flat skin. Along with backskins from everything.

The crating was impressive. Amazing how much they can fit in such a smallish crate.

Overall it was about 15 months from the end of our hunt in to the time we got our trophies hung on the wall.

We hunted with Sensational Hunting Safaris in Limpopo and my hunt report is in the hunt report section if anyone wants to read it.

Congrats on your first crate and welcome to the addiction.

It’s like Christmas for hunters!

Quite a prolific safari you had!
Awesome!
Congrats!

THAT'S A GREAT RUG, GOOD FOR YOUR DAUGHTER!

Congratulations!

Congratulations, mounts look great! That is a most proper steenbok!!

Very nice! I think the picture over your fireplace will need to be relocated. That is prime real estate for one of your trophies.

But that’s like my favorite picture from Africa! It’s actually a herd of Blue wildebeest in front of the setting sun. I had a canvas print done.

Actually that’s a place holder. My wife doesn’t know it yet but someday there will hopefully be a full body mount of a bedded Vaal Rhebok on a rock ledge. My three main targets next time over are a bushbuck, cape eland and a Vaal Rhebok.

Here the actual picture that’s hung up though.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
