My taxidermist gave me a call the other day to tell me that my warthog was done. It's funny that it's the one I chose to mount first as I had no intention of shooting one. Then after I did take one, I had no intention of mounting it...just wanted a Euro!

Anyway, I'm very happy with the result. Mount was done at Orion Taxidermy here in Sask.

Awesome Warthog, cant wait to get my own.

Nice pig.

Like the eyes. It is like you can tell that it is trying to see something and can't.

One down, the next ten to go....

I hear ya, I have a lot at my taxidermist yet, will send pics as I get them

You will probably find that most of your non-hunting friends will be more fascinated by your warthog than anything else you've shot...even if they are monster record book animals! That has been my experience.

One down, the next ten to go....

One down, four to go....at the rate of about one per year! Lol. To get to ten, I'll have to get back to Africa somehow!

Excellent work... That red hide looks like a Limpopo River warthog..

Nice pig, quite symmetrical tusks.

Nice pig, quite symmetrical tusks.

Saw lots of them with broken tusks. This guy isn't huge, but I agree with you on the nice symmetry. Thanks.

Beautiful mount, it looks really nice!

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
