Just wanted to check and see if anyone else has any animals sitting at Field and Stream Taxidermy. This is our second time to use them, but this time things are a lot slower.

They did the dip and pack on my animals from June of this year. The crate was delivered to the shippers a week or so ago. Their communication has been spot on and they originally told me it would probably be October or November before everything was ready due to the backlog. I agree it's a long time for just a dip and pack, but at least they set expectations appropriately.

I am curious to know if folks have experienced quicker dip and pack turnaround from other taxidermists.

Anything around 6 months is good on dip&pack. Around 12-14 months on finished taxidermy I good as well, in my experience.

I have used them numerous times over the years. Some taxidermy work, some dip and pack. They are my preferred taxidermy in RSA. They are good people. Communication with them is easy.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
