The hunt continued though and on a completely different area on the same day . PH Arnold Claasen managed to sneak up on another Vaal .

They set off for Klipspringer and got back before lunch

Mike came here for a spiral slam package and was done in a record 3 days !!

This was a great old bull taken out of a scattered herd of 300 animals in 65 square miles. Not greatest photos but was taken high up in the mountains after a 2 hr stalk they got it done.

We had to travel a short ways to to get Thys nyala on a nearby area that has a higher rainfall and supports nyala and bushbuck .

The following day this gorgeous bushbuck was taken after sitting on a vantage point.

If it took from June to November, I wouldn't think that would be fair chase - I think it would be decidedly in favor of the animals. Maybe you have to hunt in a gold lame suit?

WTF is 'lame'? Forget it, I don't want to know...
