I started wearing glasses about 6 months ago. Does anybody have suggestions how to keep them from fogging up? Is there a type of glass or some solution you can put on glasses?

I tried all kinds of solutions to deal with this problem. The only thing I found to work 100% of the time was LASIK surgery.

Seriously I do feel your issue still with wearing sunglasses most times I'm outdoors. There are solutions that help. Any sports store that sells ski equipment usually sell goggles and will have this solution. Another source would be any sunglass or optical shop should have it too. It works to some extent but will wear out.

I found that getting sunglasses that wear as far away from my eyes to be a good thing. It allows for more air to pass over the lenses and keeps moisture and/or skin oils from collecting on the lenses.

I take it you live in the north.

There is a solution that you coat your glasses with to keep them from fogging. look it up on the internet. Cabelas used to sell this, i am not sure if they continue to do so..

Things you can do are:

Going inside a building...take your glasses off and put in your front pocket and put your glasses on when in the building.

In sports if glasses become fogged when doing a work out or playing sports...i suggest you try Decot glasses as they sit further from your face to allow air flow to keep them from fogging.

Light coating of a very high end soft high end furniture wax.
Wipe it off with a soft silk cloth as though you are polishing them.
Good luck.

There are some products that you can put on. I used to use them on my glasses. Never fog? I believe is the name. I am sure there are other products. They go on like a wax. Works great.

I started wearing glasses when I 10 years old, and up until the time I switched to extended wear contacts (10 years ago), I never did find anything that would totally eliminate fogging. I finally found a brand of contacts that I could wear day and night for 45 - 60 days straight and gave up my glasses. This brand most recently changed the coating on their contacts, and I struggled to keep the lenses in for more than 5 - 7 days. Earlier this year I had Lasik surgery and said goodbye to both glasses and contacts.

There are anti-fogging sprays that help some. Distance from the face, as well as avoiding large brimmed hats that trap moisture from perspiration, helps (good ventilation). If you can find an extended wear contact lens that suits you, your troubles regarding fogging will be over. If you just started wearing glasses, its possible that your eyes are still changing and it may not be the right time in your life for Lasik (provided you're e a candidate).

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
