For sale is a pristine example of a Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine chambered in 25-20 and made circa 1923. I bought a collection of guns about ten years ago and all the guns were like this one, bizarrely clean older guns. The original owners family mentioned as kids they had to clean all the guns beginning around 1960, but they didn’t have any ammo for most of them. Lack of ammo saved them from abuse.

I’ve combed the internet and I’ve found no example as clean and original as this one. I’ve seen restored ones on GI selling for roughly the same price.

$6000 plus shipping.

Unusual rear sight, adjustable ladder, wonder if it's original or a special order. All the 92s I've seen even my 1907 in 25-20 had either semi or full buck horn rear sights.
Beautiful condition.

Beautiful and uncommon 101 year old carbine. I have its big brother, a Model 94 .30 WCF - a year older but in almost identical condition and configuration.

This probably isn't news to you, but if you don't have any luck here and aren't in a rush to sell, your 92 would be a very good candidate for a Rock Island premier auction. They have a knack for finding top dollar for exceptional lever guns like this. GLWS!
