Does anyone have a good loads for the Encore pistol (15" barrel) with a 150 grain bullet or greater? I've been to the Hodgdon tables, but I'm now looking for real world information.

I would consider using loading tables that are designed for the M1 Garand due to the use of fast burning powders which will be desirable in a 15-in barrel. The Hornady loading manual has a specific section for the M1 Garand.

I dont have a 15" encore.. but I have 3x 16" barrel rifles in 308...

I use 43.5 gn of IMR 4064 under a 168gr TTSX and a winchester LR primer.. and get excellent results.. tight groups out of all 5 of my 308s (to include the three 16" guns), and great downrange performance.. Ive taken everything from small hogs to a zebra and a host of other PG with the 16" rifles using this load at ranges from 25 yards to 225 yards..

I've got 748, Varget, Staball 6.5 in quantity. I've got small amounts of 4350 and 4895. I'm looking at running the staball 6.5 as it has very good velocity in the rifle. The 748 data is confusing listing only max loads.

I have a Savage striker in .308, I started with light H4895 loads & went up...but not much. It's been years since I played with it, have to look up the actual data. Shot a lot of cheap Hornady 150 fmjs.
