WOW! Hope someone on here can do this.

I'm unfamiliar with the "Hwange" area. Where does this hunt take place? Is the elephant importable into the US? What is the nearest airport? What is a realistic tusk size?

Nice offer Lin!

Hi Therack
This area is along the Zambezi river below the Victoria falls on the eastern side of Hwange national park. Unfortunately these elephant are not exportable to the states that's why I have offered on a non trophy. You can expect to shoot around 30-45 pounds for trophy and non trophy under 30 pounds. Nearest airport is in Victoria falls.

excellent offer

Great offer. I d hate to have replicas made but man that's tempting.

That's awesome! Good luck and look forward to reading the report.

I wish to you the best luck........Elephant hunting is a serious thing and the most important in a hunters life in my opinion.......We gonna be waiting for those good pics and hunting report.......!!!!!

I bought this hunt.
Im going in November.
Upgraded to trophy bull.

I am very happy for you sir. You are about to embark on the greatest of hunts. Start walking man!

would it be exportable to the UK??

I think so.
At least if you stick with the EU...
I was just in contact with my (Swedish) authorities regarding CITES import permit. It seems like the EU got the last word regarding import permit. It should not be any problem from Zimbabwe.

In that case I’ll never know as the British government don’t even know what’s going on with brexit. Well that’s what happens when the uneducated get to vote

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
