First published in 1933, this book is widely recognized as one of the top 10 elephant titles ever published. Commander Blunt was an Animal Control Officer in what was then Tanganyika and took hundreds of elephants. He wrote this book to explain elephant control and to offer helpful advice to safari hunters based on his experience. This copy is in fine condition as is the dust cover. About 260 pages with illustrations. This London reprint edition was published by Neville Spearman, Ltd. probably in the 50s. In this condition, the book usually retails for $200. I will sell it with shipping included in the lower 48 for $165. I also have the original first 1933 London edition in fine condition with the embossed gold elephant on the cover (not pictured here, but pictures are available for collectors interested in it) for $675.

As a side bar, on one of my safaris to Tanzania, I really enjoyed 10 days in camp with PH Nicky Blunt, son of Commander Blunt. He was a soft-spoken man and yet, a knowledgeable and fierce PH when he had to be. I really enjoyed hearing him tell his version of his father's experiences. Thank you.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
