Since this subject is on new technology. I bought one of thouse Steyr Pro Hunters on sale for 699 $ since they discontinued that model rifle. Its in 308 with stainless barrel. Put a cheap Nikon M308 on it. Unbelievable accuracy. Not as pretty as my wood stocked blued masterpieces but in a practical sense a real contender. The technology today is producing results that of yesteryear required a whole lot more effort
