Does the price of ammo impact your choice of a rifle caliber

It hasn’t really been a problem so much but I try not let it become one.
I started with a case of 200x 7mm-08 so I have everything correctly head stamped.
I started my .280a.i loads with new unprimed brass.

All you need is to anneal your case necks and shoulders every 5 shots, keep your cases trimmed and load just under max and 200 cases should last the life of the barrel.
A bit of mucking around but well worth it.
I have some 222 cases that I bought 2nd hand with god knows how many loads thru them and still got 15 loads out of each case before I scrapped them and bought 100 new ones. These should see me out as that should give me at least 2,000 shots minimum.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
