Disappointing PPU 9.3x62mm Brass

I don’t know, maybe I’m just lucky like that but never had problems with any of the PPU brass in 9.3, 8mm mauser, 7x57. Or bullets for that matter. Only improvement I would make on the PPU .366 285 gr RNSP is make the jacket a little thicker for better penetration on larger game, although I’ve talked to several people that have used it on Cape buffalo and it stopped under the skin on the off side, so I guess it’s thick enough? Have to try it and see.

Likewise, I had the same issue with both Graf and RWS 9.3x62 brass and ended up using a Lee shell holder that worked fine.

As a SA buddy said after he read the theead.

"I suggest he invest in this neat LEE shellholder set that is compatible with RCBS press. Most (if not all) believe that all cartridges are based on the 30-06... poor people with lack of knowledge. 7x57 uses DWM Case No: 380D (base dia. .470") 8x57 use DWM Case No: 469 [this is the case on which the 30-06 is based. Base dia .469") 9.3x62 use Case No:474C (base dia. .473") This from an american publication "

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
