Design a package....pick your poison??

I agree

On the flipside, lots of spouses come along on the hunts. I don't think they would go if it the accommodations were tent camps.
I;ve done a tent camp (son and I) and a lodge camp (wife and I) thru same outfitter.
My wife would have loved the tent camp if it were any time other than July. It was kind of cold that hunt and took a moment for the tent to warm up.
Other than that it was awesome.

@AlphaHunter, I don't know where in Kenya you were hunting? You say south of Kenya, would that be Tanzania? If you mean southern Kenya and you think that your were hunting, I am afraid to say you were poaching. There is No legal hunting in Kenya. The last game that was legally shot in Kenya was under the Community Wildlife Scheme run by KWS as a pilot for 10 years this ended some 12 years back. I know this as I was one of the few licensed game croppers in Kenya and was culling large amounts of game in different parts of Kenya.
Some ranches still manage shoot wildlife but this is done behind closed doors and is still illegal and if caught they would be prosecuted for poaching. Some authorities turn a blind eye what goes on in some ranches. The Kenya wildlife act states that all game even game on private land belongs to the government.
Let me cushion you if you were indeed hunting in Kenya it would be wise not to be to public about it.
I would not hold my breath to hunting opening up in Kenya anytime soon. While the new wildlife act is gazetted, but still not enacted, it explicitly banes hunting in Kenya.
Send me a PM if you wish to discuss.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
