Death of a King

your entitled to your opinion as i am of mine.boo hoo jerk.
Not really just my opinion...it is a societal norm! Making a joke about watching a human being die is NOT FUNNY...and it doesn't make you a jerk for making the joke...it just makes you SAD.

all decisions of right and wrong are opinions.your entitled to yours and im entitled to mine.i wasnt making a joke, the death of that lion was sad to me.when i think of his death i wonder why somebody who deserves death is still alive.given the choice,i prefer hags death to the lion.this case is closed as far as im concerned.

You seem to be very proud of your opinion...I would suggest you call the Secret Service detail protecting Former First Lady Hillary Clinton and tell them that you would like to watch her die...they will be more than happy to explain to you societal norms.

He states, although he has photographed PEOPLE who have lost everything (including their family members) in natural disasters all over the world, he has NEVER photographed anything as sad as this lion dying!
Folks this is the misplaced empathy we face today. Animals are more important thepan people. Now that is sad.

Yip. That is typical animal rights talk. Very sad.

However. And please see this where it comes from. In rural Africa we become blunted to human demise and suffering. I have seen thousands of people die, working in tribal conflict (faction war zones) and because of HIV and related disease. It takes only so long to become blunted , primarily for self preservation, to these inevitable deaths - often self inflicted. Hence I have also erred to the side where seeing such an animal suffer, and die, has a bigger impact on me than the former...

I am 100% for ending that lion's slow dying process with a well placed soft 3 months earlier

Nature is cruel, that is no way to die........but it happens if you live long enough.

Yes the way the lion died was sad, but that’s what makes us who we are....Hunters. We feel the pain of his death, we’re not cold blooded killers the antis make us out to be.

I have never had to much feeling for a predators death. They are so humane when they kill their prey. Kind of look at them as competitors.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.
