Some valued replies, thanks.
All fake fur. The closeness is remarkable. Initially developed as a substitute to satisfy the cultural needs.
Not every hunt results in a treed leopard, even in the rich coastal forests of Mozambique. Equally not every leopard that is tracked and brought to bay must be darted, in high risk situations we just call the hounds off and leave the cat be. Even on bowhunts we have had to do this, especially where the bowhunter refuses a rifle backup.
Heightened adrenaline can interfere with the delivery of the drug.
The result for the hunter is an opportunity to hunt several cats until the suitable situation is achieved.
Bullthrower, that is a Jaguar............ but a beauty none the less.........
