I have never heard of crossfire as an issue. I shoot everything - handgun, rifle, doubles, OUs with both eyes open. Are you sure you are using your dominate eye?

Yes, tho I am left handed, my dominant eye is the right. Therefore I shoot right handed with both eyes open (and also throw a ball right handed). It is just one of those quirky things I am prone to, evidently. And I regret to say, I felt compelled to sell off a nice Beretta O/U because of it!
Also, meant to say Brister, not Brewster....my Yogi Bera speaking wife is rubbing off on me.
