I was daydreaming today and thinking if money and restrictions weren't a problem...

Where (province/place/area ) would you hunt each of the dangerous 7 + a PG safari?

In each animals natural habitat / location, and as free range as possible.....

I know, is too wide..But at the end of the day if you are going to hunt you can only be physically in one place.

Reading many of you here i would say

ELEPHANT - Botswana (Okavango Delta?)
CAPE BUFF - Tanzania (Selous game reserve?)
CROC - Tanzania ??
LION - Zambia ?

And so on

If money was no problem it would be easy! I would just hunt everything EVERYWHERE!

If limited to one country than probably Tanzania or Zambia…. But the real limiting species is rhino.

How many countries allow Rhino hunting? Looks like only South Africa and Namibia

Rhino for me would definitely have to be one of the 5(?) huntable (every year) Black Rhino bulls in Namibia. Without a doubt.

As for the rest, I’ll echo other’s sentiments. The best wilderness available that has the best trophy quality per species.

If it has to be in a single area, RSA, KwaZulu/Natal province.

Buffalo, lion, leopard in Tanzania. I can't imagine a better place than where we hunted in the Rungwa area in 2021. Might also do elephant in the very West of Tanzania. I personally also enjoyed hunting elephant in Zimbabwe and would certainly consider it again. Botswana comes to mind although no personal experience, yet.

Croc and hippo in Mozambique. We missed out of getting a hippo tag this year so planning next year.

Black rhino obviously in Namibia if money is no object;)

I can't come to mind with a way to do this in a single location.

I'd start in RSA for a white rhino, then hop a flight to Zim for leopard/lion/buffalo/croc/hippo for three weeks, and another flight down to Botswana to finish up on elephant.

My biggest concern would be picking 2 rifles to do it all with (travel-wise), then how to stay under 5kg of ammo for all of that hunting!

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
