Who has experience with them? I would love to see photos, particularly of any multi-barrel sets. Any interesting hunting stories with them?

I own a Dakota 76, but not a take-down. Great rifle. The only downstroke I have heard about the Traveler is that assembly and disassembly is a bit complicated due to the method used to fasten the rifle barrel to the action. I do not recall the details.

Would love to see any photos of 76's also. I'm picking up my first one today...a Safari .416 Rigby.

The Dakota 76 Traveler is a great rifle. Mine has made 2 trips to Namibia so far and performed perfectly. Have taken Steenbok, Springbok, Gemsbuck, warthog and Mtn Zebra. My has 375 H&H and 400 H&H barrels. Change over is simple by loosening one Allen screw.

I own several Dakota 76s, they are all fine examples of what a rifle should be. Never had a single issues with any of them.

I do not own a takedown model though, so no help on that front.

Beautiful photos! Thanks for posting. How is the repeatability switching back and forth?

Accuracy is very good. Normally after switching barrels the first shot will be within 1/2” of sight in and subsequent shots are usually back to sight in point. Even changing barrels and re attaching scopes has no measurable concerns. It’s been an excellent set-up and accuracy has been great.

You can't beat that. Excellent!

Some time ago, I was looking into these and discussed the concept of the Dakota 76 Traveler and heard that due to numerous inquiries ParkWest Arms was giving serious consideration to bringing back a take-down rifle. Apparently due to trademark issues, they aren't using the "Dakota 76" or "Traveler" names, but look at what I found at their website today.....
