Very nice Dakota, excellent presentation.

Nice Dakota. Looks like a "Safari 76" model.

If someone wants even more 330 Brass, Parkwest has it in stock.

If someone wants a 404 Jeffery, you could buy this and have it rebarreled by Parkwest for way less than buying a new Parkwest or a vintage Dakota in 404J. (330 Dakota uses a 404J case, so feed isn't going to be an issue)

Either way, seems like a lot of rifle for very little money.

Agreed, lots of rifle for the money and enough brass to keep it fed for a couple of lifetimes, plus those RCBS custom dies haven’t been made in years.

Thanks!!! Maybe I should raise my price? :)

It certainly is a good value.

If it were me (I don't like Dakota calibers, I love their rifles) I'd spend $2k sending it to Parkwest to be converted into a 404J worth $8000+.

I'd then sell the brass and dies here or elsewhere because there is strong demand.

One of the nicer Dakotas we've seen here in awhile.

Great deal on a great gun and caliber! If it had special select wood I'd be all over this setup!

Mark - what a beautiful rifle and the caliber is a good one, able to do anything needed short of dangerous game.

I have been down the caliber conversion path, it's really cool how specialized the actions are at Dakota, they had seven different action lengths, and that's why they always feed and work, so much engineering combining the best of Mauser and Winchester, with unique action sizes - 330 Dakota was Dakota's "Short Magnum - C Family" and encompassed all of the Dakota calibers (as they all originate from a shortened 404J) - 7MM Dakota, 300 Dakota, 330 Dakota, 375 Dakota and 404 Dakota. The case length for the Dakota line of ammo is 2.5"

The 404J caliber is in a longer action dubbed by Dakota as "Long Magnum - D2 Family" the case length for 404 Jeffery is 2.875"

Mark/Mods - this is meant to helpful/useful to the sale of this rifle, if you deem it not so, please delete.

This is a deal on a beautiful, very functional Dakota rifle with a lifetime supply of brass and dies.
Don't let someone else buy this 5 minutes before you decide you can't live without it!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a member since 2015 but haven’t been active since 2017. Life got busy, especially with building my second business. Still, I’ve kept my passion for hunting and followed things from afar. Now that I have more time, I’m excited to reconnect, contribute, and be part of the community again.

All the best,

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
