I know this isnt hunting related. I got given one as a present and would like to know if someone here has had one or still have one and what do you think of it. I did shoot it yesterday and was damn accurate for such a small handgun.

Great little gun. I collect cz's. Theres a company called Harrington Products that makes a tool steel firing pin and extractor upgrade. I'd highly recommend changing thouse out and the pistol will last for ever. The cz70 and the cz52 are notorious for broken firing pins, especially when dry fired

I'd like to find a CZ70 in .380 ACP (9mm Kurz) caliber. Thus far I've only seen .32 Auto (7.62mm) specimens for sale.

Should have asked, are you talking about the Czech model or the Yugo model? Both make a CZ 70.

I’ve never heard of one chambered in 380...I’ve only seen them in .32...

They’re still easy to find.. typically between $250-$275 for one in good condition...

I'm discussing Yugo (Zastava) model 70 pistols. I've only seen .32 caliber variants for sale, however .380 caliber models supposedly were also produced. The number of .32 caliber produced must have been significantly higher than the .380 caliber models judging by what's available on the current market. I think owners of the .380 models are probably keeping them instead of selling them.

Cool stuff. I had a type 2 for a while, good little pistol. Wish I still had it. Never knew that .380 was an option. Gonna be a tough find I bet.

Thanks for the articles @mark-hunter! I have some German ancestors who lived in the Sarajevo area that emigrated to the US in the 1890's.

I have an original Soviet TT33 I bought back in the late 1980's so I've never really wanted a Yugo / Serb M57 especially with the added slide safety when imported here (although there is a Gunbroker listing for a M57 with no slide safety right now - at $650 not for me). I've heard nothing but trouble with the Norinco version with the added safety.

My TT33 is rougher on the webbing at the base of my thumb than any other pistol I've shot. It's a safe queen.
