Its value is based on its utility as a ready-to-go dangerous game rifle.
Price Estimate is $1,000 - $1,400

Given the trend of these rifles and lack of current production safari chamberings, I think this rifle + scope is more in the 1500-2200 range if you are patient to sell.

I would tend to agree with Wisk(e)y hunters appraisal, but maybe ask member Krish. He keeps a pretty good feel for the gun market.

A quick check on GB on online auction winning bids for CZ 550 375 H&H over past few months, about half a dozen, varies from $1410 to $2700. Some had scopes, most did not and no expensive scopes. Most looked little used or new old stock. Plus factor in the winning bidder will be paying taxes, shipping and fees so add another $200-$300. A new MPI synthetic stock for a CZ is $419 so probably comparable in price to an original wood one.

Seems like those priced in the $2600 or more range aren’t moving right now and of course a winning bidder would have to add on another $200-300 in shipping and taxes.

Not sure if you’re including the scope and mounts? Looks like a Leupold 1.5x5? Usually you get more value selling the scope separately but I’m sure it would make a ready to go attractive package if included. I agree with Wisk(e)y Hunter and Teklanika_Ray appraisal. I think $2200 with scope/mounts and $1800 without would be a good starting point.

Of course Krish is always a great source!

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
