CZ 550 375 H&H AHR Wayne Jacobson

Ah...6 mins too late. Story of my life. Anyone know of any other 550 .375's for sale?

That was a great buy.

I’m surprised it lasted that long. and didn’t think it would make it till today.

That would be a perfect rifle for someone that can contain themselves to one rifle.

Hedge, you should have taken a hint from our posts that it was a good deal. People ask $1800-$2500 for a bare bones factory 550 with a humpback stock.

Haggling is ok but you will risk someone sending a private message with the full price. As happened here.

I’m glad I don’t have time to check constantly or I’d have another .375.

I’d love an AHR .375, I think it would easily become my “one” .375. I’d have needed to find a wooden stock though, I just can’t do synthetic.

My lobotomy was seemingly successful. I happened to see the posting in time to purchase—and did not! Life is kind of a dull haze post-lobotomy; however, medically the procedure has to be classified as a success! :-)

Totally understandable. It's not that I didn't want to pay that price, I just literally didn't have all of it. Lesson learned though. "Buy it, you'll find the $350." Thanks guys!

Since the Gun is sold how about that Bit you have in the picture ,is it up for sale?

Hi , This is off subject, But what is the horse bit hanging on the nail ?
It is a Mardueno style cheek with a modified rein ring. I had him do it like that so it would function better with regular split or roping reins. I stuck those two curbs on it so they didn’t get lost. The way he forged the mouthpiece is different too.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.
