A few dings on the wood but otherwise it’s really nice.

Its a bargain.

Thank you gentlemen, I will post some pics when I figure out what I want to do with it.

You're welcome!!(y)

Well guys, this didn't work out very well:
"Hello Yancy, I am sorry but this rifle was sold on gunbroker on 2/11/2020. For some reason GUNBROKER relisted it and we didn't notice it. Obviously, we don't have it anymore. Sales@weaponspro.com"

Well that sucks!! Similar to what happened to me last week with a rifle out of AK. I got a rifle, just not the rifle in the listing. They took it back and refund is forthcoming. These guys don't stay on top of stuff!

I hate that. I have never dealt with Gun Broker and now I have reservations about doing so. I am sure if it is the "right" gun at the "right" price I will get over it. Still, that does suck.

I enquired last night about a rifle listed on GB. Seller says today, "oh that's already sold". And it didn't sell last night either, just says "ended". I told the guy he and others need to pay better attention to their listings.

Certainly they do but I would think most of the responsibility falls on Gun Broker.

I am sure they would say that its up to the individual sellers to monitor their own listings, and I would agree. I am a seller there too and while not a big timer like some with hundreds of listings, its up to us to pay attention.

I get that. My point is that incidents like this cause little damage to the sellers reputation, while repeated incidents cause a general lack of trust in the Gun Broker platform. So, gun broker should do some policing. While I realize the platforms are dissimilar, ebay's system nearly eliminates these types of problems and they have remedies available to deal with problem sellers.

I have no trust issues with GB themselves. Some sellers are better than others, that's what the feedback system is for. I do think they are too lenient in their grading of sellers however. There are lots of sellers there with crappy feedback that still have A's and A+'s. But buyers should "beware" there like anywhere and read a sellers feedback before bidding.
In these recent cases of listing things that are already sold, its baloney and the sellers really need to stop being so lazy and get with the program.
But beyond that I don't really know what else can be done, Caveat Emptor.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
