Corona question - Shot placement and caliber for these critters

I'd say an M109 SP 155mm 98lb HEQuick ought to be about right- as long as you don't have to shoot from the shoulder.

Spielberg “shot” one but got in trouble I think...

those big 2 legged carnivors I would go for the hip joint with a big gun/bullets to be sure of disablement.
this is a high neck shot was hard to do.
nothing fancy, just put my survival first.
bruce.
Hi Bruce, those big, bi-pedal biters were thought to be avian dinosaurs. Warm blooded and more closely related to birds than lizards. So maybe we need to think of them as really, really big chickens. Do you really want to wreak the thighs and drumsticks? ;)

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
