Verizon. They suddenly dropped the Outdoor Channel and the Sportsman Channel. They continued Al Jazeera.
That says everything about Verizon.
Verizon Drops Outdoor Channel

If you're a subscriber to Verizon FiOS TV, we've got some bad news for you. The cable provider announced last week that they will no longer carry Outdoor Channel.
“Our partners, advocates and viewers of outdoor lifestyle programming are very disappointed with Verizon’s actions in the last month,” said Jim Liberatore, CEO and President of Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks. “It should concern all Americans that one company can silence the only relevant voice of an entire industry with the flip of a switch."
This move means that Verizon FiOS customers will miss out on our great NRA All Access, NRA Gun Gurus, and American Rifleman programming.
In a notice to its subscribers, Verizon stated that the move was a response to rising content costs and was made in an effort to lower customers' monthly bills. Additionally, they suggest viewers tune into Discovery, Nat Geo Wild and History to find "similar content."
We don't think you'll be able to find the same quality outdoor content for hunters, sport shooters, anglers, and other outdoor enthusiasts on these channels — especially not our shows.
So what can you do? Contact Verizon FiOs at (800) 837-4966, let them know how you feel about quality outdoor programming being dropped, and demand they add Outdoor Channel back to their packaging.
