For anyone interested in cars, bikes and transportation there are 2 large collections on display in Invercargill New Zealand. We had a quick look in the bike museum today that has hundreds of bikes and some history on “The world’s fastest Indian”.
We did not have time to spend time in the transportation museum which is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Both are large collections on display by a private business that has 2 locations about 2 miles apart

More relevant to the post is my Subaru Brumby we sold a while back. My best good girl Jessie in the back on one of our Subaru Sunday outings.

I had the Subaru Brat 83’

Hmmm. The original poster is also from Colorado Springs, I have posted before but I collect Italian cars and motorcycles…. But lately have been enjoying a 68 Volvo 1800…. I have a 100 year old grocery store I converted into a garage. By the way I am always at Scottsdale auction week as well

Jason, did you buy the Esprit in Colorado? My brother had one exactly like that which he sold probably 20yrs ago. Of course, black was a popular color on those.

Quite a few years ago. Friend of mine back where I come from bought one of those in Belgium....was playing a drinking game at a party one night...the guy whose house it was said let's play for your corvette....my friend was yeah let's go for it....he lost ..the guy came around next day to pick it up....we all knew each other pretty well...we thought he would drive around in it for bit ..wind my friend up then give it back...which rest of us would have done....but no kept it and sold it quite quickly.....

There is no way you fit in that tiny car @rookhawk … you’d be head and shoulders above the windshield

I was taller back then, but also half the weight. I did fit, not sure I would today. Car's were generally bigger in all interior dimensions before airbags.

Not trying to get off topic, but there is a car collection here in Salem, Oregon only open once in a while by invitation only. I would like to take my 85 year old Dad and of course myself to the museum, the problem is a guy needs to know the right people to get an invitation, if any of my AH friends could help that would be awesome. I will post a pic of my 65 Ford F250 when the sun is out this afternoon.
The Brothers Car Collection? I would love to see that also! Google says that the Club Miata Northwest is doing a spey viewing on 6/1/25 ... tickets are $30, max of 50 people...

I think some of the other local car clubs get in from time to time... I keep bugging my friend to get his Model T club hooked up.

You know the collection is good when they keep the location secret...

I'm working it hard, trying to figure how to see it, 50 miles away 177000 sq ft of an unbelievable collection of cars and and anything related

I may be a bit different here but I like the AMC AMX, Javalin, Machine and the Marlin (or a Rambler Marlin).. don’t own any.

3.0 CSL - the original BMW “M” car. I don’t drive it as much as I should, but it brings a smile on my face every time I do.

One of the best looking cars ever built, what year is it?
I also love the BMW 2800 and 3.0S sedans, pure elegance.

The games we play!!!!!!!

Those early Ford GTs had a period after the initial release that they could be bought at a great price. Then they took off.

I’m sure you did well on that car if you bought it early. They are still appreciating at a steep pace.
