With our last hunt of the season completed I thought I'd share some pictures of animals harvested this season:

Pictures posted in no particular order...

Jytte from Denmark is an accomplished hunter who has hunted Africa several times and bagged several species including Elephant and Buffalo. This year she booked a hunt for a Kudu larger than the one she already has and Brown Hyena (a species that was on her bucket list).



In spite of very green and wet conditions we were lucky to bag this (almost) 55" Kudu bull in April on the 2nd day of her 5 day hunt:



And we got this Brown Hyena on the last day of her hunt...

John from AB Canada came over for 10 days...

It was still pretty green but I'd say he had quite a successful hunt bagging (amongst others):

and within a few minutes after the first one this old nag:



John also got a decent Eland:



and Blue Wildebeest:



Lest us not forget his 54" Kudu bull hunted in the mountains of Sabrisa Ranch:



or his 24,5" Impala ram:



Daryl (also from AB Canada) brought a bunch of friends over for a hunt in KZN. This was Daryl's 2nd hunt with us and between him and his buddies we got some great trophies.

Our dear and longtime friend Paul from WY hunted the Timbavati with us for Buffalo. After checking over probably a thousand buffalo we elected to take these ones:

Thanks for all the hard work from yourself, you lovely wife, Sammie, and everyone else that helped out. It was truly an unforgettable and amazing experience. Hopefully I can make it to Calgary in the new year for the show so we can discuss the next adventure in person.

Indeed Wayne - the Canucks have been treating me very well! Thanks for the compliment on trophies taken this year. As the saying goes in hunting: "90% luck and 10% skill"... We were very lucky this year!

If all goes well I'll be visiting with Denny in Bellingham before / after Calgary... Need to book him a Buffalo hunt before he gets too old... LOL!
