Cheaper than Dirt wont see anymore of my money!

With states making it easier for people to sue a manufacture or retailer for something that is totally out of their control I think that your situation will happen more often in a number of states.

Doesn't Washington have one of these laws in effect against manufactures? It seams like as I was looking at other things I noticed that they do.

I can understand more and more manufactures and retail stores covering their rear ends just to keep out of the court system in areas where a jury may award a plaintiff a very healthy sum just because they don't like firearms and or anything associated with them.
I have no idea......thats usually federal nonsense.

Colorado passes just such a law this past legislature session and started today I believe.

What happened to the five boxes of brass you had four year years ago?

Remind your senators and the game and fish department about how much tax revenue the pittman-robertson act has raised in the past for your state and how little they will get now. It might help..... maybe.

No but the ammo is so obscure its highly unlikely a little store like that would just happen to have some laying around, very little demand for it, as rifles so chambered are exceedingly rare.

Might be surprised. The owner is also into rare/interesting rifles (especially doubles and howdah pistols)…so maybe knows some unique sources.

I never had any brass, just ammo. I am not out, but having shot and reloaded the other more than a few times, I am down to two boxes of factory and a couple for reloads, but the brass doesnt last forever.

They could not be less interested.

Have you checked Midway?
First or second place I check for everything. And Natchez, Midsouth, Grafs, Powder Valley, and on and on.
Plus open net searches, thats how I found that CTD had it and I bought some from them before, they had the best price, still do, but wont sell it now.

Washington state….. It’s also a FELONY offense to ship pipe tobacco or cigars to Washington unless you pay the state importation tax.

This made all the online cigar shops instant ban all sales to WA addresses.

So I’m not at all surprised

Do you have a friend in a neighboring state?

I dont smoke or really know anyone who still does, so I wouldnt have known about that stuff, good grief. I know that ivory cant be shipped here either, basically contraband.
We will be rid of our idiot Gov next election, only hope we dont get someone as stupid or more so than he was.
Closest "neighbor" to me is British Columbia, LOL. But I did find the ammo in Vancouver at a shop, but I bet its a no go to buy from our friends to the north.
If I can get the stuff I found on GB I should be good for the foreseeable future.

You just need a middleman in another state

What Colocalifornicate commie law are you referring to now? I don't remember seeing one on the shipping of ammo?

I was refering to them making it alright and easier to sue firearm manufacturers. They did however talk about a mail-order ban on ammo but shelved it. So don't be surprised if they don't bring it up next year.

On the plus side, a judge blocked the 21 year old age requirement that was supposed to take effect today.

Actually, Pintos is run by one of the largest and most knowledgable collectors of vintage firearms in the country who is a friend of mine. Call them and ask for Chris. If he doesn't have some available, he can probably tell you who to call (and I'm not talking about retailers). Chris knows all the big players. Trust me on this.

The first time I visited WA was shortly after the state relinquished control of liquor sales to private entities - the concept of state owned liquor stores to a native Texan who grew up in a dry town was both perplexing and oddly understandable at the same time.

I was shocked at the state’s retaliation for the loss of revenue = $7liter excise tax + 22-24% sales tax.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.
