The ruger is about 8lbs total and has a 13” length of pull. Chuck Hawk has a recoil table that cites some loads for the RCM and they are about on par with .30-06 of the same rifle weight and grain, so the 130 should be a little less. I guess I’d need an approximate velocity to calculate the actual recoil energy. I’m not sure what the .300 wsm weighs, probably 8.5ish. It’s in a synthetic stock currently, but I have a featherweight stock that isn’t being used that I would like to have cut down to 12.5ish with a Pachmayr. The rifle isn’t a featherweight, but the sporter barrel still fits the featherweight stock. How much does the rifle weigh? The easy way to look at recoil is to use a recoil calculator. It will at least give you an idea of the direction you are going.
I'm not sure the other part of your question was answered. Yes, if you can get the stock to fit her better it will make a difference. Not sure about aftermarket stocks to keep the original stock in tack. Not sure if you could add a kick stop to it or not? Might be an option to help.
