I am leaving for my first cape buffalo hunt on Sunday and taking a break from packing and final fine tuning.. Lets see some pictures of your cape kills. As if I need to be any more pumped up. Bonus for bow kills as that is what I am using.

375 H&H off the sticks at 58 yards. Just like turning off the light switch. BTW Barnes 300 grain TSX with 75.5 grains of W760 and F215 primer.

75# Matthews 1028 grain arrow Iron Will 250 grain head
Crawled into 25 yards. One arrow. He went 150 ish yards no rifle follow up needed. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Great bull. I am using 250 grain iron wills and a 700 gr grizzly stick. Shooting a 80lb Hoyt.

I have another album somewhere in my attic, where the photos of my other Cape buffalo hunts are. But up until I can find it, will these do ?

I have shot most of them with .375 Holland & Holland Magnum rifles over the years (till now). Except for 3 of them, which I shot with a .458 Winchester Magnum.

My favorite bullets for them used to be Federal 300Gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw controlled expansion factory loads (which Federal been listing as ”unavailable“ on their website ever since 2018). For future Cape buffalo hunts, the Barnes 300Gr TSX factory loads seem quite promising.

My life’s one great sorrow is that, even after 49 years of hunting in Africa… I still haven’t been able to secure a rhinoceros (my dream game of all time).

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
