Cape Buffalo cow hunt with 9.3x62mm recommendations?

"TSALA can easily do this at affordable rate"

Thanks for the reference!

I shot a buffalo cow at Tally Ho last year after doing a "low crawl" for 40 minutes. Low crawl is a technique that most Marines and soldiers may have tried to forget. Slowly we edged closer until at 50 yards we found a small tunnel through the bush that offered a decent shot.

There were at least a dozen cows and young bulls in that small herd that we got close enough to. My PH Rudi was ecstatic that we were successful in our stalk. I was also rather pleased!

I've had good luck with Varget and the Speer 270 or Nosler 286 grainers.

Just talk to the outfitters closer to the Kruger park area on using the 9.3 we there is a fair amount of local hunters who take buffalo especially cows with 9.3 x 62.
In 2006 I guided my Swedish agent on a PAC hippo in Limpopo he was using his 9.3x62 a nature conservation officer came along to oversee the hunt and he was happy for the client to use the 9.3 x 62.
He did however state that if it was PAC elephant he would not allow the 9.3.
