Is this on Timbavati? Or your own concession?

I'm sorely tempted, but still paying for taxidermy from last August.

Good day sir.
This is on our concession, 10 000 acres in the Lowveld. Not far from Timbavati.

I think you and the missus would love this place. That’s me in the photo with Derian above. I had an excellent time hunting with Derian and it is a real hunt involving tracking the buffalo on foot with Geraldo the tracker and Derian and Christian. The cows are wary, you’ll get a few seconds for a shot.

The beautiful Klaserie River flows through the concession which has crocodiles and you may come across wild dogs, leopard, lion and hyena. We came upon several wild dogs that had killed an impala on my first evening. Really special to see. I did a hunt report and later posted a video of this hunt by African Safari Films on AH. We’re going back in 2026 for trophy buffalo, hyena and crocodile. I highly recommend Derian and his staff for a wonderful hunt.

Trying to be a bridge between Eastern and Western schools of conservation.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
