CANADA: Saskatchewan Mule Deer Hunt

View attachment 163621

Thanks! I've seen some bigger ones posted on Facebook, but I love big-bodied, heavy antlered bucks like mine.

Here's a pic with Tina posing him. He looks bigger without my fat carcass behind him! Lol.

Two keepers for certain!

Very nice buck @Ragman! Looks mighty warm for the great not so white north.

It is! We're having a really nice November so far. Hopefully it continues. Some years the deer have already been dealing with the hardships of winter snow, so it's nice knowing that they'll be going into December in nice shape.

Nice Rayman. I've taken maybe 15-20 in Colorado, but none had that kind of mass.
I did have a 16 point (each side!) that lived near me and came to my water trough occasionally, but never during season...Murphy's law.

Very nice Mule Buck Ragman! Congrats!

You're killing me man! Some of the biggest mulies I've ever seen were in Sask and no non-res tags allowed, not even for fellow Canadians! Where's the love? Nice buck hoser (the yanks won't get that one)!

that's a pretty deer! Congratulations on your hunt. I saw some really nice bucks during our antlerless mule deer hunt along the Frenchman river in SW Saskatchewan last week, hoping to draw a tag next year and go back for one.

I'm fortunate to live in an area with great mule deer. I think our limited draw system really helps in that regard. I've managed to kill a dozen really nice bucks with rifle, muzzleloader and bow over the years.

Beautiful deer.
Congratulations

@Mac Baren, I live central to city of Cincinnati. I have work travel early this week but could hopefully meet later this week (with no schedule changes). What area of town are you working/staying in?
Kind regards
Ron
