Can You Judge These For Me?

Closer to 7 inches depending on how one measures. Not measuring around the spiral, my buck seen in the pic is about 11 inches from tip to base in a straight line, and 13 around the spiral. Only takes about 10 inches to make SCI.
On that trip I only saw a couple and shot this one first with no hesitation whatsoever.
 
I think you made the right decision. At the end of the day, we just need to trust our PH’s and I don’t think you’re led you astray.

Your Sharpes is a pretty good one. Looks pretty similar in size to the one I shot this year. Then again a 1/8th of an inch is a lot on one of those guys.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
