Can I bring my own bottle of booze to South Africa

Jeez what a horrible sight....:A Vomit::A Outta:
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

It’s OK, I won’t drink your Bourbon or Rye, it’s a matter of taste.

So it's only the liquor stores in ZA that are outside of the airport that have the decreased strength?

I've not seen that be the case, but I also don't have much experience with buying booze in SA. I do buy it in the airport and I've not seen it be decreased for anything I've bought, and I buy all I can carry most every time.

I bought bottles of Woodford and Buffalo Trace in EC that were both only 55 proof.
Maybe it's an EC thing, I'll have to find out.

@crackerman
I took a one liter bottle of my beloved Bundy rum to Namibia with me. No issues at all.
Glad I did that Captain Morgan spiced rum is absolute shit. I would prefer to drink gasoline than that stuff.
Bob
Jimmy Buffet can set sail with that swill I’ll stick to drinking gasoline.
