Business to Australia (Sydney)?

Got a bud going to Australia next February, Looking at business tickets from the east coast or Houston, prices are all over the map. Any insight/experience/best prices with airlines making that flight? He said one was 18K RT. Don't want to make a down payment on an engine, just rent a seat for awhile. TIA, Hog

Based on what my wife and son did (me too just to Hawaii).
Flew Southwest to Hawaii Oahu and spent two nights. Did the Arizona memorial and the Missouri tour.

She and son flew one way business to Sidney on Qantas for ~$3k. Then did United business on return. ~6k for that leg, although one ticket was paid in milage.

I'm told Qantas is the best airline eva.

It seems there are few business class deals these days. I've flown Quantas several times. The DFW-Sydney is long but very efficient way to get there. Too bad it's not the A380 anymore. I plan to go again in the coming years.

I leave in September and my advice is to wait until closer to departure.

My cattle class ticket from DFW-Melbourne dropped from $2,500 to $1,700 two weeks ago and I jumped on it.

My best suggestion is to use skyscanner to search your flights

I’m see business with air Canada & air New Zealand for $6-9K ish

I have never found a deal on Business to Sydney, Premium Eco, they run sales all the time.
