I think it's quite different in Benin. The government deal with African Parks to manage and preserve wildlife in the three parks (Arly, Pendjari and W).
They get human ressources for anti-poaching and are in the bush daily.

There have been reports of trouble in Benin in the NW region

Update from todays news. Two of the four hostages that were rescued by French special forces were taken while on safari in Benin. No details as to if a photo or hunting safari, or what area, but they were taken back to BF where two soldiers were killed during the rescue.

Probably not, it isnt safe to even go there, too much terrorism and strife. US State Dept says, its no go.

It's over, absolute insecurity throughout the country. The unclear political situation after last year's coup has also been added to this.

I don't know only one camp operating today , and even it was, what to hunt after years of free poaching ... I agree, it's over .
