the first one is amazing

Maybe it's a form of heresy to show a cow on this thread. :p But... it's what I have. I am EXTREMELY happy with this buffalo; it was easily one of my favorite hunts ever. SOOO much fun. A lot of miles and tracking ending with an irritated 1300 pound cow and a 45 yard frontal shot, as she sized us up and debated what to do about us. And we were in the sticks... it was super thick with pokey stuff; the photo on the left is on the back of the ravine, where she fell.

A cow can be just as dangerous and exciting to hunt as a bull. Besides, the world record is a cow!

I just scroll the entire 23 pages of this thread, looking closely at every single pictures.

My first morning of buffalo hunting will happen in 3 months, 2 weeks and 1 day. Can't wait. And with all the things that are shaking the entire world, I just hope I'll be able to make my way there.

This officially the oldest Buffalo hunting picture on record...in my cell phone!

It was pre iPhone and post mullet, so your guess on year is as good as mine.

Seeing this picture and typing that out puts things in perspective a little.

This was a good bull from Moz with a most interesting follow up. I remember emailing this pic to my first cell phone so I'd be able to market safaris anyplace at any time!

505 Gibbs CEB 485 Raptor
The hair slip, worn down horns, battle scars...

That sir, is a most excellent trophy. Congratulations.

Fantastic old warrior. Congrats! I’m guessing that Raptor really impressed him. I guess the Gibbs .450 got left home this trip?

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
