hello all - i have a great opportunity for a hunter or two - if you're interested in a big game hunt in 2025.
i thought it was sold but the check never made it to our office! So... its not a 'cancelation' but i knocked a little off for yall at AH.
this is a top notch wilderness adventures and a great safari - observers welcome and will be comfortable.
if a dangerous game hunt in a great wilderness area is what you are looking for - then you will be happy with this safari!
ok, on to the details of this adventure.

10 day hunt
the camp and hunt are both excellent.
the dates of the hunting MUST be July 23 to August 1 (possible extension if you wanted to chase an elephant)

success and quality on the three big animals is excellent.
also available are: kudu / impala / puku / roan / eland / bushbuck / sharpes / duiker / oribi and others.

the cost of the hunt:
10 day hunt $22,500
trophy fees:
buffalo at 5000
croc at 4000
hippo at 4000
elephant tuskless bull at 8500
elephant trophy we can discuss (looking at numerous and good bulls 50 pounds and up).

please check that the dates above will work for you before reaching out to me if this hunt is of interest to you. If this hunt sounds like something you would like to consider for next season then i will sell 1x combo like this with a trophy elephant and i have another left that is without (price and dates will be different).

thank you and i hope this post finds you all well and ready for a great hunting season as are we! As usual best to try to reach me on the phone or whatsapp over email or messages 573.587.1234

sincerely,

Nathan Askew

What country and concession? I don't see it listed anywhere.

The hunt is in Zambia. If the dates work for you then please get in touch with me. Thanks

How common are these in Tanzania? In the last 20 years I have yet to see one and PHs I know in Zim have seen only 2 during their career.
This hunt is not in TZ.
I saw 2 tuskless bulls on my last trip in the area in 2024. Chances are good track record is good or else I would not offer it.
The video below shows a group of elephant. The bull knee deep in mud needs another look and then there is a tuskless behind him.
The video is recent.

What size croc can be expected?
expect legitimate 13 to 14 footers - of course there is bigger and we will see them. Many of the big ones have incomplete tails but we go mainly on body/skull size and age to make the decision.

The first picture at the top is a good croc from last year - shot 2x like that on a 2x2 10-day safari in 2024.

crocs are a great hunt and sometimes easy... but most of the time it takes a lot of work and patience. Finding a good one and getting the right (ethical / high percentage) shot is of the utmost importance. We are not into loosing 70 year old animals to a quick shot or an impulse judgment or a rushed deal.

There are many crocodiles. The biggest issue with this hunt here is getting the right animal clear for a shot due to the 10 to 20 other crocs milling around. takes a little strategery to make it come together.

Thanks for the detailed response. Makes sense.
