Couple of thoughts...
If he had stopped shooting after the first 2 shots, the bull would have likely kept on running and died in 5o yards or so.
Easy to get caught up in the adrenaline rush and keep shooting while he's still on his feet, been there, done that myself.
Easy to Monday morning quarterback it at a computer keyboard.
When you pull the trigger on a buffalo you really don't know what's going to happen afterwards.
Most times they run away; sometimes they don't
Glad it turned out OK and no one got hurt.
