I am now nearly 70 years old and am having to part with some fine rifles I had for more than 50 years. have been an avid collector all my life.

Brno Model 5 from 1966, in excellent +++ condtion, metal bluing nearly intact, mirror barrel, highly polished barrel typical from pre CZ series. walnut stock has some dings and dents here and there. This fine walnut came from another Brno model 5, it replaced the original inferior beech non checkered stock, this rifle came with in the first place.

This rifle is easily transfereable in europe, need buyer permit in original (Which I will return) once export formalities are done. Years ago I sent Brno rifles to Australia and New Zealand, through dealers there, don't know if still possible. In Europe it will be shipped in 2 seoarate parceks by priority registaterd mail

Asking 370 Euros and this includes export fomalities. Willing to trade against quality scope or camera lenses.

Very fine rifle sir. I’ve been looking for a Brno Mod 5 in South Africa to go with my Mod 1&2.

If only it wasn’t such a pain to get in in RSA. All the best with the sale

Thanks for your message. years ago from Switzerland I sent a swiss K31 rifle to South Africa, in 2 parcels after we made all paperwork, I agree it's a mess. Only alternative is if you travel to europe see some family or friends, you can bring rifle back with you by airline..Following regualations, many hunters travel around with their rifles
Cheers Marco

Whats the difference between a model 1 and a 5? I have a 1 made in 1950, looks just like this 5.
TIA

Any chance of shipping to the states?
I can ship from here if I get import documents from the US, but you must inquire with customs if there will be any problems to get it in. I guess also you should talk tour local dealer. thank you for your inquiry

I had a few model 1's the main difference between model one and five is that model 1 has a rectangular receiver ejection port and model 5 an oval one. Barrels look identical, Safety lever on model 1 is straight aligned with bolt and model 5 is at 90 degree angle

I am in process of importing a firearm from the UK now, if you want some details on how PM me. It does add some substantial fees.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
