On a separate note:
In Eastern Block Euroepan countries (Checkoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, etc , during soviet era, and the era of Soviet union (1917-1989, when Berlin wall fell - the date which marks the fall of that system), there was no animal rights groups or movement in that region. And hunting was goverment supported. Most of socialist leaders were prominent hunters
So, I still have a problem connecting animal rights movement and NGO's to Marxism.
Somebody might enlighten me?
In the error of my ways, I still see animal right movements as a (side) product of post hippi western democracies, and their urban societies..
