I think I'd feel comfortable following up just about any thin-skinned critter on earth with this load...and as for the latter, that's why God made AR-15's!

Buckhammers kicked like hell! They don't make them anymore. If you are shooting under 100 yds then take a look at the "reduced recoil" slug offerings. Plenty of punch with about 40% less kick!
