Dox,

What is your draw length?

You should be able to pull 30 to 40# and shoot accurately to 25 yards before even thinking of hunting with your bow.

Hi

I shoot 65# and have a 24.5 inch draw length.

Thanks

65# with minimum of 420gr arrows and you have more than enough to take down any of the African plains game....

I think that will be more than enough. The more important thing is to practice to make quick and accurate shots. Also having sharp broadheads!

Add a cut on impact broad head to your setup and you should have no problem with anything from a Kudu down. They will greatly improve your penetration.

That sounds like a winning set up for a bow!

Time to put it into use!

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,
