BOTSWANA: Two Weeks Hunting In The Kalahari With Kanana Safaris

I would have loved to seen this place. Plus Jason seemed like a great guy and I am sure greatly missed.

I have to agree whole heartedly with you Bill

Sure enjoying browsing back through your hunt report!

I wonder where Martin and Morlen are? Martin got hit by a leopard once - showed us the scars on his head and neck.

Those two are working in the industry somewhere.
Martin and I worked together incredibly well. He was incredibly skillful and humble man.
I'd hunt with him again in a heart beat.

Just reading through the trophy dramas you blokes had, and I’m shocked! We hunted over a year after you, and we got our trophies a year later.

Not my favourite part for sure.

Did you ever find out where they ended up?

Morlen is with Tholo having a good time, and feeling very proud of the good work he does. I connected with him on Facebook. I’ll have to ask him or Claire what Martin is up to. I may have, but can’t recall. I was sure impressed by the leopard scars on Martin’s neck!

The Kalahari is something very special. It was a place I wanted to visit since I was a little kid.

Woah! I had not seen this report BRICKBURN, great report, beautiful place.

Pascal, Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoy sharing the experiences with people, no matter where I hunt.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
