Remind us again, what time of year do you hunt Bongo in the Congo. This is the ROC correct? So a hunter would fly into Brazzaville. How is it to import a rifle and export trophies?

The hunting season starts in May and finish at the end of October.
we do hunt hunt bongo in Congo with the baka pygmies and their dogs.. Very exciting, something to experience for sure...
Brazzaville is the entry for Congo.
We don't want hunters coming with their rifles because the process is really a pain in the a.... We have great 375 Ruger in camp.
No problem to export the trophies to US..

Picture 484... Do some of those bongos not care if they are approached? The photographer must be almost as close as the dog, given the thickness of cover there

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
